Composition: Each film-coated tablet contains:
Atorvastatin Calcium equivalent to Atorvastatin 20mg
Indications:
Atorkon 20 is a lipid-lowering medication used to manage:
Hypercholesterolemia (High cholesterol levels)
Dyslipidemia
Prevention of Cardiovascular Diseases in patients at risk of heart attacks, strokes, or other cardiovascular complications
Mechanism of Action:
Atorvastatin is an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (statin) that reduces cholesterol production in the liver. It lowers LDL (bad cholesterol) and triglycerides while increasing HDL (good cholesterol) levels, improving overall cardiovascular health.
Dosage & Administration:
Recommended dose: One tablet (20mg) once daily or as directed by a healthcare professional.
Can be taken with or without food.
